JATCHED.com (job + matched) is the product of four dazzling NYU students who ran with an assignment in an Entrepreneurship class and never looked back.
Daunted by the tough economic times and even tougher job market, we were stumped when graduation arrived and the job well was dry. There were no jobs nor internships to satisfy our need for money in the big city, or our parents desire for "concrete plans". It occurred to us that maybe our class project did not need to be just another PowerPoint slide show to drag into the trash to free up disk space. It would not only help us, but all of our fellow students and recent grads as well. So here we are: working everyday to bring employers and students together in one trustworthy, smart, simple place - JATCHED.com.

Natalie Aghion graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business in a major that made people question, "Her?" Yes. Her. With her exotic Colombian accent and untamable spirit she braved the male-dominated world of Information System Technology and Marketing. Being the only founding member of JATCHED.com to receive a job offer after graduation, she is now based out of Miami. She, however, makes monthly appearances in New York and Skypes in to group meetings daily. She is thrilled to be working on a project that benefits her favorite community (aside from her native Bogota). She hopes to quit her job as soon as JATCHED.com takes off. Ask her to tutor you in Spanish, do your financials, and cook your meals. But whatever you do, don't leave your children unattended with her!
Aleksandra Bookman

Aleksandra Bookman graduated from NYU in the Spring of 2009 as a History major and Producing minor. Although her major and last name would have made it appropriate for her to be a librarian, she chose a different path. With an internship at SNL and Sony BMG under her belt, you would expect that path to be in the Entertainment Industry. But in true Aleksandra Bookman fashion, she took an even less traveled, unexpected road. Being that a desk job with a demanding boss is absolutely not her style, she needed employment that complemented her free spirit and erratic schedule. She made it happen for herself and now that spirit works free of paychecks and scheduling conflicts in order to help herself and her peers. She now spends her days as a co-founder of JATCHED.com in New York City. Ask her to walk your dog, play drums with your middle-schooler, teach you Spanish/Serbian/Italian before the big trip, but do NOT let her anywhere near your taxes or physics student.

Craig Campbell graduated from NYU in 2008 with a degree in Music Technology. He is now a full time software developer living in New York City and currently working for an interactive agency called Schematic. When approached to see if he would be interested in doing the development for JATCHED.com Craig was very excited by the opportunity/possibilities and joined the team.
When he is not busy writing awesome code he likes to play guitar, piano, drums, ukulele, clarinet, synthesizers, and cello, among other things. He also has a deep love for 1960s rock, Woody Allen films, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
Mary Casey

Mary Casey is studying entrepreneurship and classical history, and graduating in 2011 from NYU. The eldest of five, she loves fashion, traveling, writing, and editing. Starting in high school, her friends would often send her their work to edit. She believes that two heads are better than one, and for her, it is truly a privilege to see the world through another person's eyes. Originally, she wanted to study biology, but her first and last collegiate biology lab made her realize it definitely was not for her. Mary still thinks biology is fascinating, though, and would love to tutor younger kids in biology. Mary has tried to get her driver's license three times, unsuccessfully... and has moved onto bigger things- Mary is currently in pursuit of a glider pilot license. She definitely cannot help you with photography, unless you want her to leave the lens cover on- sorry. She is the baby co-founder of JATCHED and hopes it will be useful to you!
Robyn Fukumoto

Robyn Fukumoto is gloatingly self-employed. A recent graduate of NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, she is happy to say she has finally found an employer who has embraced her major of Socially Conscious Fashion. Leaving the tropical weather of Honolulu, Hawaii for the unforgiving winters of New York City, Robyn was determined to make something of herself. While still severely under-dressing for the months of December, January, February and parts of March, New York City has taught her that good fortune is not coincidence but the result of relentless dedication and hard work. JATCHED.com was not only the perfect solution for the trying economic circumstance of an starting-out entrepreneur, but also a way to help her peers get through this recession alive. She is a strong advocate of living the dream (Don't believe us? Ask her major.) and feels everyone is entitled to that right, with a little help of course!
